Trails: Connecting Park and City

Looking for a unique, relaxing urban forest experience without the hassle of driving? Lower Kinnear Park boasts beautiful trails complete with 100-year-old trees and relic shrubs framing water views unlike anywhere else in Seattle.
A series of trail steps connect Upper and Lower Queen Anne; perfect for the pedestrian looking for a refreshing break from the concrete urban sidewalks leading up the hill.
Or follow the lower winding path to Mercer Place stopping at the overlook for a view of the water.
Lower Kinnear Park also contains several trails that are currently hidden by ivy and blackberry bushes, but once our landscape architect waves the magic drafting wand these obstacles will disappear and give way to an even bigger expanse of interconnected beauty.

Lower Kinnear Park is the missing link connecting Seattle's dynamic park system. Imagine a looping urban trail that begins with a breath of fresh sea air in Myrtle Edwards Park. Take a few steps south and snap some pictures in the Sculpture Park. Have breakfast in Belltown, stop by the Seattle Center for some ethnic music then indulge with a cup of java in Lower Queen Anne. Work your way over to Lower Kinnear Park for a tennis battle, followed by a picnic. Take the Helix Bridge back into Myrtle Edwards Park. An entire day of activities, highlighting Seattle's finest, all in one easy stroll.
It's a day dream in motion.
